Secretary General

Noya Amjad

Noya Amjad is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is honored to serve as your

Co-Secretary General for CNYMUN 2026! Since beginning her engagement with model UN four years ago, she is committed to fostering thoughtful, high-level debate and understanding of diplomacy. In addition to MUN, she serves as the senior Class President, serves on her district's student advisory committee, is actively involved in NYS HOSA as a state officer, and helps ignite a passion for science in younger students by leading a nonprofit called SciExcite. In her free time, Noya loves to travel and explore new countries, go shopping, and explore new restaurants. Noya hopes that CNYMUN 2026 will leave you with a better understanding of effective global citizenship and foreign affairs. She is looking forward to witnessing your transformational thinking, innovation, and collaboration to work toward our vision of a more dynamic and cohesive world.

Secretary General

Meilissa McLain

Meilissa McLain is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in MUN for four years. She is thrilled to be serving as your Co-Secretary General for CNYMUN 2026 and has loved every minute of prepping for this year’s conference! Outside of MUN, she is a competitive dancer, captain of the FM Dance Team, and is actively conducting a research project at her school. Over school breaks, she greatly enjoys interning at Cornell University to study biochemistry. In her free time, you can find her baking with her sisters, trying out new recipes, and dropping off the fresh baked goods at their friends’ houses. Meilissa hopes that when the conference concludes, you will walk through the doors of Hendricks Chapel feeling a new sense of aspiration for a brighter future, for the delegates of today will be the reformers of tomorrow. 

Chef de Cabinet

Griffin Pienkowski

Griffin Pienkowski is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been a part of MUN for four years. This is also his fourth year being a part of CNYMUN previously serving as a delegate, secretariat, and chair. He is excited to be serving as your Chef de Cabinet for CNYMUN 2026! Outside of MUN, Griffin is also a two sport athlete playing both football and baseball he also participates in multiple clubs throughout the school year. Outside of school, he enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends in his free time. He can’t wait to see what you all accomplish at CNYMUN this year.

Under Secretary General of External Affairs

Serena Wan

Serena Wan is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is so excited to be your Under Secretary General for External Affairs this coming CNYMUN! Serena has been a part of MUN since her freshman year and has loved it ever since, taking on the roles as a delegate, a rapporteur, a chair, a content director, and now the role of Under-Secretary General. Outside of MUN, Serena participates as a mental health activist, serving as the co-president of her school’s SAFE club, and is the principal flutist in two advanced ensembles. You can also find Serena functioning on two shots of espresso and a dream, cafe hopping with friends, revamping the website to look aesthetically pleasing, being a movie snob on Letterbox, and bedrotting when she has the luxury to do so. Serena is looking forward to meeting everyone and making her last CNYMUN the best yet!

Under Secretary General for Crisis

Aaron Graham

Aaron Graham is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is really excited to serve as your Under Secretary for Crisis at CNYMUN 2026. He has been involved with MUN since eighth grade, having previously served as a delegate, crisis staffer and junior crisis director at CNYMUN. Outside of MUN, Aaron is the Captain of FM History Bowl and a National History Bee semifinalist. He is also a member of the Wrestling team for FM and the founder of Scribes, a library program designed for writers. In his free time, he enjoys working out, watching football, and reading. At the conference, you can probably find Aaron at Insomnia Cookies or engaged in deep philosophical discussion with Tony Dentler. Aaron is excited to meet all of you and hopes to create a fulfilling experience for all those attending CNYMUN 2026.

Director of Secretariat

Jasmine Kobayashi

Jasmine Kobayashi is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is looking forward to serving as your Director of Secretariat for CNYMUN! She has been a part of MUN since 9th grade, and is experienced as a delegate, a secretariat, a chair, and now Director of Secretariat. At school, Jasmine is passionate about both children’s rights and the medical field– serving as the President and Co-President for FM UNICEF and HOSA. Outside of school, you will often find Jasmine tutoring kids, playing piano, traveling the world, listening to Beyoncé at the gym, and reading at a cafe with a coffee in her hand. Jasmine is beyond excited to work with the secretariats and to meet everyone in CNYMUN 2026!

Media Director

Surin Bong

Surin Bong is a Senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School, and has been involved in MUN for four years. This year, she is honored to be serving on Exec Staff as Media Director, and as a Crisis Chair for the JCC! When not preparing for CNYMUN, she enjoys volunteering for the community as Key Club President and being a member of the Varsity Rowing team. Her hobbies include studying at cafes, playing the violin, and using Canva for everything. She is excited to be a part of another great conference!

Sr Specialized Content Director

Hari Yoganathan

Hari Yoganathan is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in MUN for 4 years. He feels honored and blessed to have the privilege of serving on CNYMUN 2026’s Executive Staff as one of your Sr. Specialized Committee Content Directors. Hari has relished every experience, no matter how grand or minuscule, that MUN as a whole has to offer, from being a delegate to a chair and now content director. He is thrilled and impatiently waiting for the days when delegates get to share in the bliss of diplomatic discussion and debate through this conference. In addition to CNYMUN, Hari envelops his time through leadership in school as the Student Council Vice President, presides over artistic stewardship as NAHS President, and can be seen assisting environmental research at ESF, and even putting his creative skills to use in various documentaries, short films, and even an illustrated book on great white sharks (The greatest animal on the planet - an objective fact of course) Hari is grateful to be a part of such an incredible group of individuals working to bring CNYMUN 2026 to all delegates, and is excited to share in the collective aspiration of all towards building a brighter, unified future.

Senior GA Content Director

Tony Dentler

Tony Dentler is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is pumped to be one of CNYMUN’s two Sr. GA content directors. Tony has been part of F-M MUN since his freshman year and has loved every second of it, taking part in MUN as a delegate, a chair, and as the current club treasurer. Outside of MUN, Tony is the president of the F-M Ultimate Frisbee club, a section editor for the school newspaper, a saxophonist in the F-M Wind Ensemble, and a Barista at Starbucks. Although busy with many things, Tony always takes time to lighten up a room and make people laugh #BeACoffeeBean. During CNYMUN 2026, be on the lookout for Tony, as he most likely will be in a deep, intellectual conversation with the Under-Secretary General for Crisis, Aaron Graham. But don’t be afraid to go up and talk to Tony yourself; he is always willing to talk about Starbucks drinks, current events, sports, and a lot more.

Senior GA Content Director

Hudson Brenner

Hudson Brenner is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in MUN for four years. He really likes giving feedback on position papers that can be greatly improved by it. It has been an honor seeing CNYMUN develop over the years. Aside from MUN, Hudson plays the piano, viola, and sings as his most important hobbies, and is involved in other extracurriculars and honor societies. When not participating in an “activity,” Hudson likes to play ping pong, basketball, or Scrabble.

Senior ECOSOC Content Director

Meryem Sarimurat

Meryem Sarimurat is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved with MUN since her freshman year. She is so excited to be one of your ECOSOC Content Directors for CNYMUN 2026! Outside of MUN, Meryem helps facilitate volunteer opportunities for the school art department, and loves to volunteer at the local elementary schools. At home, she can be found reading, listening to Taylor Swift, or watching Gilmore Girls, all while drinking copious amounts of coffee. She is looking forward to seeing everyone’s hard work at CNYMUN in January!

Senior ECOSOC Content Director

Ayesha Rehman

Ayesha Rehman is a senior at Fayetteville- Manlius High School and is looking forward to serving as one of your ECOSOC Content Directors for CNYMUN 2026! Ayesha has been involved in MUN since 9th grade and has experience as a delegate, secretariat, and chair at CNYMUN. In addition to MUN, Ayesha serves as Fundraising Director for HOSA. Outside of school she enjoys tutoring children, checking out local cafes in CNY, and going on shopping sprees. She can't wait to see the effort everyone put in to make CNYMUN 2026 another amazing conference!

Junior Specialized Content Director

Chase Jaconski

Chase Jaconski is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is looking forward to serving as Specialized Content Director for CNYMUN 2026! This is his fourth CNYMUN, previously serving as a page, delegate, and rapporteur. In addition to MUN, he enjoys serving as class president,  acting as lead attorney of the Mock Trial Team, and competing in trivia

competitions. Outside of school, he enjoys being out on the water, debating anyone who will participate, and spending time with family and friends. Chase is thrilled to see all of the hard work of delegates pay off in January for a weekend of spirited debate.

Junior Crisis Content Director

Stella Affeldt

Stella Affeldt is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is looking forward to serving as Crisis Director for CNYMUN 2026! She has been participating in Model UN for the past four years, starting her CNYMUN journey as a page. At her school, Stella is an active member of FM MUN and HOSA. Outside of school, Stella loves participating in World Food Prize youth programs, volunteering at her local library and the Food Bank of CNY, and obsessing over the daily crossword. Stella can’t wait to see everyone in Syracuse this January for another great conference!
