Maisie Ruddy has been an active member of Fayetteville-Manlius MUN throughout high school, and is so excited and honored to be your Co-Secretary General! She was the Operations Director for CNYMUN 2020, and before that, she chaired DISEC at CNYMUN 2019. Besides MUN, Maisie is the President of FM’s Improv Club, Founder of H.O.M.E.S. For All, and a Student Council elect. Outside of school, she loves reading, singing, J/Boat sailing, and gardening. Despite the many difficulties we have had to overcome for CNYMUN 2021, Maisie is beyond grateful for her amazing advisors, Mrs. Gross and Mr. McGuigan, and her partner in crime, Callum Newton, for being voices of reason throughout this process.
Callum Newton has been a member of the FM MUN club for the past four years and is looking forward to being your Co-Secretary General! Prior to CNYMUN 2021, he was the Crisis Director and chaired the Security Council for CNYMUN 2020. Outside of MUN, Callum is a member of the FM Science Olympiad team, an Eagle Scout, and has a third-degree black belt in Karate. Callum has also been known to occasionally watch Star Wars in his free time. Although this year has posed its challenges, Callum is extremely proud of the dedication the CNYMUN Steering Committee has shown and thankful for all the time and effort spent by CNYMUN’s advisors, Mrs. Gross and Mr. McGuigan. He is also excited to work with his Co-Secretary General, Maisie Ruddy, to organize an enjoyable and productive CNYMUN!
Chef de Cabinet
Alexis Ahn is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is honored to be your Chef de Cabinet for CNYMUN 2021! She chaired the African Union committee at CNYMUN 2019 and was a member of Crisis Staff the year before. Apart from MUN, she is a co-Leader of Refugee Outreach Club, Treasurer of FM International, and an editor for her school newspaper and literary magazine. Outside of school, Alexis devotes her time to volunteer services as the Founder of Rise & Read Inc., CEO of SciExcite Inc., and a Matilda Joslyn Gage Ambassador for Human Rights. She also loves playing tennis and watching crime documentaries in her spare time. Working with the executive staff and her advisors has been truly wonderful and she’s excited for all the great things CNYMUN 2021 will bring :)
Content Team Director-General
Phoebe Wang is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius who has been with the FM club for 5 years. Her first experience with CNYMUN began as a page her 8th grade year and soon moved to chairing; this year she is serving as the director of content for our conference. Phoebe is extremely excited for our delegates to have the same amazing experiences and opportunities that CNYMUN has allowed for her and despite the circumstances of this year, believes that our conference will truly thrive. Outside of MUN, she is an individual sectional champion for tennis, first chair oboe and english horn for the Symphoria Young Adults Orchestra, and the vice president for the H.O.M.E.S organization. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys listening to music and creating artwork. Lastly, she is incredibly grateful for all of our amazing staff members and for you delegates for taking the time to continue our passion for MUN in this chaotic year. Justin Hanover is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in the FM MUN club since his freshman year. He has been a rap. for DISEC at CNYMUN 2019, and a chair for AOSIS at CNYMUN 2020. Justin is the current President of the FM-MUN club. This year at CNYMUN, Justin is working on the Executive Staff as the ECOSOC Content Director. Outside of MUN Justin enjoys working at the Fayetteville library and is the Director of Community Outreach for H.O.M.E.S club. Justin is excited and incredibly grateful to get to work towards putting together CNYMUN 2021, and can’t wait to get to meet all of you!
Cadence Panol is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is on the content team for this year’s CNYMUN Executive Staff, serving as the main overseer for General Assembly committees. Since freshman year, Cadence has been adamant about her continuous involvement in MUN activities, attending CNYMUN first as a delegate while also serving as the conference treasurer. When not working on MUN-related activities, Cadence is busy dancing, running, drawing, or nerding out over the last English project assigned. She is excited to tackle this next challenge of putting together CNYMUN 2021, as crazy and bizarre as the circumstances may be.
Operations Team Director-General
Andy Sun is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in the FM MUN club since his freshman year. He chaired the GA committee at CNYMUN 2019 and 2020. Outside of MUN, he also enjoys being a part of FM’s Science Olympiad team, playing cello, and playing tennis. Despite the unusual circumstances that this year has brought, Andy is super excited to be a part of the operations team for CNYMUN 2021.
Sarah Brien is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is excited to be a part of the Operations team for CNYMUN 2021. Sarah has been an active member of MUN since her freshman year, and she had the opportunity to be a repertoire for SOCHUM at CNYMUN 2019, and a chair for UNEP at CNYMUN 2020. Outside of MUN, Sarah is the Co-President of the Refugee Outreach Club, the Class of 2021 Vice President, and a member of the varsity tennis team. In her free time, Sarah enjoys long walks at Green Lakes, driving around town, tik tok, and sharing new music with her friends. Sarah is grateful to be a part of CNYMUN 2021 and is determined to make it a great conference despite the virtual circumstances!
Samhitha Adavikolanu is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is the secretary for FM-MUN. She is part of the Operations Team as the Liaison for CNYMUN 2021. Samhitha has been an active member of MUN since eighth grade and has chaired UNSCEAR at CNYMUN 2020. Aside from MUN, Samhitha is the Vice President of HS4cp, Captain of the girls varsity tennis team, and the Secretary of H.O.M.E.S For All. Outside of school, Samhitha likes travelling, hiking, and she enjoys playing the trumpet. Samhitha is very excited for CNYMUN 2021 this year and can’t wait to see what this virtual conference will bring!
Talia Cavalline is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is a part of the Operations Team, as well as a chair for SpecPol for CNYMUN 2021. Talia has been an active member in MUN since her freshman year and helped to chair the Scramble for Africa committee in CNYMUN 2020. Aside from participating in MUN, Talia plays on the volleyball and lacrosse teams at FM, serves as the recording secretary for Student Council, and is a constant participant in FM's Brojo program. She is more than grateful for the opportunity to be able to help put together CNYMUN 2021 this year, and excited to see what it becomes at the end of the process!
Izzy Crovella is a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is a part of the Operations Team for CNYMUN 2021. Izzy has been an active member of MUN since her freshman year and she was a page at CNYMUN 2017, on Crisis Staff at CNYMUN 2019, and chaired UN Women at CNYMUN 2020. Apart from MUN, Izzy is Treasurer of Science Honors Society, Junior Classical League, and HOMES For All. Outside of school, she bikes, speed skates, and rollerblades for fun! Izzy is so excited to be a part of this year’s virtual conference and can’t wait for CNYMUN 2021!
Andrew Ahn is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been a part of MUN since 8th grade. Andrew is grateful for the opportunity to serve as a co-director of Crisis committees, and looks forward to help running CNYMUN 2021! He was previously a Crisis Staffer for the “Scramble for Africa” committee for CNYMUN 2020, and is continually involved in other MUN conferences. When not doing MUN-related activities, Andrew is working on Science Olympiad, competing in Math League, or playing for FM golf. Outside of school, Andrew enjoys biking, automotive racing, playing the cello, and pursuing the occasional internet wormhole.
Jaden Duggal is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in MUN since his freshman year. He serves as a co-director of the Crisis committees and looks forward to making sure that everything runs well. Last year he was a Crisis Staffer for the NGO committee and this year he is chairing Security Council. Outside of MUN, Jaden is part of the varsity tennis team and was the captain of his volleyball team. In his spare time he loves being with friends, being outside, and listening to music. He looks forward to making the best out of a virtual conference and can’t wait for CNYMUN 2021.
Eddie Elliott is a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and has been involved in Model United Nations since his freshman year. This year he’s a co-director of Crisis committees, and is ecstatic for CNYMUN 2021! He chaired the “Scramble for Africa” committee last year, and is currently entering his second year as MUN club treasurer. When he isn’t preparing for an MUN conference, he is busy functioning as an administrator and writing articles for Wikipedia, working on the school newspaper, and swimming for the school team. In his free time, Eddie enjoys hiking, reading The Economist, correcting people who spell his last name wrong (“It’s Elliott— with two T’s!”) and taking naps.
