2021 CNYMUN Staff
Maisie Ruddy has been an active member of Fayetteville-Manlius MUN throughout high school, and is so excited and honored to be your Co-Secretary General! She was the Operations Director for CNYMUN 2020, and before that, she chaired DISEC at CNYMUN 2019. Besides MUN, Maisie is the President of FM’s Improv Club, Founder of H.O.M.E.S. For All, and a Student Council elect. Outside of school, she loves reading, singing, J/Boat sailing, and gardening. Despite the many difficulties we have had to overcome for CNYMUN 2021, Maisie is beyond grateful for her amazing advisors, Mrs. Gross and Mr. McGuigan, and her partner in crime, Callum Newton, for being voices of reason throughout this process.
Callum Newton has been a member of the FM MUN club for the past four years and is looking forward to being your Co-Secretary General! Prior to CNYMUN 2021, he was the Crisis Director and chaired the Security Council for CNYMUN 2020. Outside of MUN, Callum is a member of the FM Science Olympiad team, an Eagle Scout, and has a third-degree black belt in Karate. Callum has also been known to occasionally watch Star Wars in his free time. Although this year has posed its challenges, Callum is extremely proud of the dedication the CNYMUN Steering Committee has shown and thankful for all the time and effort spent by CNYMUN’s advisors, Mrs. Gross and Mr. McGuigan. He is also excited to work with his Co-Secretary General, Maisie Ruddy, to organize an enjoyable and productive CNYMUN!
